Bunless Bacon Burgers
This keto friendly burger is loaded with flavor, topped with crispy bacon, and served with a tangy aoli! Quick, easy and keto!
Makes 4 Servings with 15.14 total net carbs (or 3.785 net carbs/serving).
Ingredients:

1 lb ground beef (80/20 chuck)

1 egg

1 tablespoon minced garlic
​

1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
​

1 tsp salt
​

1 tsp ground pepper
​

8 pieces thick cut bacon
​

2 tsp paprika
​
-
1 tsp worchershire sauce
​
-
4 slices cheese (use your favorite - gouda works great)
​

1 teaspoon olive oil
​
-
4 pieces iceberg lettuce (rinsed and dried for wrap/bun)

Dipping Sauce:
​​

1/2 cup mayo
​
-
2 tbl mustard
​
-
2 tbl no sugar katchup

Cooking:

Start by pre-heating oven to 375 degrees, and place 8 strips of bacon on an aluminum foil lined baking sheet. Bake for approx. 18 minutes or until the bacon is golden brown - place on paper towels to get excess grease off.

Pre-heat sautee pan on medium-high heat. Add 1 teaspoon olive oil, and when the pan is hot (you will see the oil start moving around in the pan towards the outside).

Mix ground beef, egg, garlic, cheese, salt, pepper, paprika and worcestershire together in medium mixing bowl. Mix well.

Form 4 1/4 lb patties or more smaller patties.

Add formed patties to pan and sear for approx. 5 minutes per side. Turn heat to low and add sliced cheese. Cover pan and melt cheese for approx. 2-3 minutes.

Make sure patties are cooked by checking internal temperature until it reaches 155 degrees.

Build your burger - Place one patty on the piece of iceberg lettuce. Add two strips of cooked bacon, drizzle sauce or add on side for dipping.
